When I first saw this sketch I really was not sure what I should do with this one.... the hearts and flourish made me think wedding... but I really wasn't sure where to go from there.... so I got out my photos.
I find that is often the best way to work at a sketch. If you like the sketch but don't know what to do with it, get out your photos. They should be organized already with all of the same topic or the same "page" together. Typically I end up having a few more photos than I want, but thats OK because it gives you more flexibility when you get to actually creating.
So I pulled out the photos and started flipping through them, and came to a great vertical of the bottom of my dress and putting on the garter.... that photo actually didn't make the layout, because I liked a different one better, but it got me started and inspired me to work on this sketch.
I find that when inspiration hits me on a sketch, its a bit like a whirlwind. Things go flying til I find the photos I want and all the other bits... so that was me this morning, with the kittens looking on and wondering what the heck their momma was up to! The only reason I stopped was that I didn't want to be late for work....
So here is the final product. : )
Papers, chipboard, rub on and journalling card are all Cosmo Cricket. The brown stamping is with Tim Holtz stamps (I think) and with Distress Ink - Walnut stain.
Enjoy!
